EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
WBU / Seminary admits students of any race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin or physical disability to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethic origin or physical disability in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and other school administered programs.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Request application packet and admission information from the admissions office.
2. To complete an admissions file the following items are needed:

  • Application form
  • Application fee
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • official transcripts from all postsecondary schools, institutes, universities, and seminaries.

3. Any applicant who applies for the credit transfer must request official transcripts be sent directly to WBU / Seminary from the institutions which the individual previously attended. Without official transcripts the credit transfer may not be allowed. In case a different name was used in the previously attended institutions, it should be informed to WBU / Seminary.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
The transfer student must submit all of the forms listed in the Application Procedure. An official transcript from each post-secondary educational institution previously attended must be sent directly to the WBU / Seminary Registrar from the registrar of the respective institution

EVALUATION OF TRANSFER CREDITS
Transfer credits are generally accepted at the discretion of the accepting institution. Whether or not accepting certain credits or how many credits are transferable depends upon the policy of each institution.

Credits may be allowed for the courses which are equivalent to courses in WBU / Seminary programs and in which students have made 2.5 or better. Credits may also be accepted if the courses previously taken are judged to be comparable to courses offered by WBU / Seminary and not highly specialized.

Up to 45 hours of work completed in accredited schools will be transferred and applied toward the master level degrees at WBU / Seminary, provided the work is 2.5 or above. A student must take at least three semesters of studies (minimum 45 semester hours) at WBU / Seminary to receive any degree.

TRANSFER OF CREDITS DISCLAIMER

Since each institution of higher education has its own policies related to transfer credit, a student must understand that work earned at WBU / Seminary does not automatically transfer to other institutions. It is the responsibility of the student to ascertain the transfer policies at other institutions. The acceptance of WBU / Seminary's credits by another institution is determined solely by that institution.

ABILITY-TO-BENEFIT (ATB)
WBU / Seminary recognizes that there are prospective students who do not meet the established admissions criteria, but who should be given an opportunity for a college education. Consequently, the faculty has established policies and procedures whereby consideration will be given to accepting a limited number of applicants (not to exceed twenty percent of the total student enrollment) who demonstrate the potential to profit from study at WBU / Seminary provided adequate support is extended to them.

AUDIT/OBSERVER STUDENTS
A student may enroll to audit courses for which he does not receive a grade or credit but for which an official record is kept. The usual application process, application fee, tuition rates and student activity fees apply. Only lecture courses may be audited. Courses requiring internship or private instruction may not be audited. Students may audit one class while enrolled for credit in other classes or may register for only audit classes.

NON-DEGREE STUDENTS
A non-degree student is one desiring to take only a limited number of courses for credit but not interested in enrolling in a degree program. A non-degree student must complete the standard application process required of all applicants and must submit the application fee. The usual tuition rates and student activity fees apply. If a non-degree student decides to transfer his credits to a degree program at WBU / Seminary, he must satisfy all degree requirements including general education courses.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Currently, the vast majority of students applying to WBU / Seminary are non-residents, i.e., international students. All applicants, regardless of residency status, must provide WBU / Seminary with complete and accurate information about their academic background and character, including personal information, personal references, enrollment information and academic records.
