Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Mission
The M.Div. degree is an academic program designed primarily for those who wish to serve as pastors, missionaries and various other pastoral positions. The program is designed to equip students with necessary pastoral knowledge and skills. This is a 93-credit program of study. In case of pursuing to obtain M.Div. degree with counseling or worship music leadership concentration 102 credits hours are needed for matriculation.
Objectives
The M.Div. programs will enable the students:
1. To be equipped with sound biblical and theological knowledge.
2. To effectively share, teach, or preach the word of truth whenever the opportunity arrives.
3. To be equipped with Christ-like character and integrity so that they may be respectable men and women of God in their communities.
4. To empathize with the Korean immigrants who undergo many difficulties and serve them through teaching and counseling.
5. To demonstrate the meaning of servant leadership through their life, love and deeds.
6. To exert more effective leadership in local churches through particular trainings, such as worship, teaching and counseling.
7. To take the name of Jesus Christ our Lord to peoples who do not share same language, tradition, diet, and worldview with us.
