In as much as God’s Word is the standard by which all things are measured, WBCS affirms the following philosophy of education

1. The principle that all truth is God’s truth will be applied appropriately in each course.

2. Just as it is the responsibility of instructors to encourage students to learn, students must also be active and sincere participants in the educational process.

3. God requires and graciously enables all believers to learn and apply His Word as they submits to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, instructors should expect the best from students.

4. The Scriptures are given to equip believers for every good work; therefore, it is instructors’ responsibility to lead students beyond mere communication to application of biblical truths to their daily lives.

5. Instructors take the responsibility of encouraging students to master the course contents.

6. In order to motivate students’ desire for learning, instructors are to foster the need for the courses offered.

7. Since the purpose of biblical education is to glorify God and serve others, it is the responsibility of instructors to train and equip students for service.

8. Christian education is intended to impact and shape the whole person through biblical truths. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the instructor to care for the student’s ongoing spiritual growth.
