Community Service Program is designed to help WBU students gain field experience in order to enrich Christian spirit of social service and put classroom learning into practice. Students can fulfill their community service through churches, charity organizations, and other organizations.
Community service is a requirement for undergraduate students. Total seven (7) units of community service are to be fulfilled for graduation. One unit is equivalent to 16 hours of community service.
At the beginning of each school year, new students will receive a copy of the revised Washington Baptist University and Seminary Student Handbook. Because we at WBU are a Christian community, as well as an educational institution, our family life together is governed by a code of conduct. This is done so that we may be able to function together in harmony, that we may preserve a good testimony, and that we may each develop good habits of Christian discipline.
