WHAT IS PASTORAL COUNSELING?

Pastoral counseling uses the insights and principles of spirituality, religion, and theology in working with individuals, couples, families, groups, and institutions toward the achievement of wholeness and health. Pastoral counseling tries to understand and analyze human sufferings in the context of Christian faith.

MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT

The missions for this center are:

    - to offer high quality spiritually-oriented counseling services to students of WBU and the

      extending local community.

    - to help international students assimilate and adjust well into the American culture and

      society.

OUR SERVICES

Counseling services are provided at this center by staff members who are trained in the areas of pastoral (Christian) care and counseling. Pastoral counselors do not impose their personal religious beliefs upon others. Persons of all faiths are equally welcome. Our counselors are able to explore the religious or spiritual dimensions of each individuals pending issues.
