Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.B.)

Mission
The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies is a four-year degree program providing students with academic discipline and theological training. The curriculum is designed to help students who desire to be in ministerial fields to formulate basic biblical understanding of pastoral and ecclesiastical ministry.

Objectives
Students who successfully complete the B.A.B. curriculum will:

1. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the Bible as a whole.
2. Have a basic knowledge of evangelical Christian theology.
3. Be able to integrate basic general education courses with Christian faith and theology.
4. Have the necessary skills to use the Bible effectively in ministry.
5. Possess competence in understanding the biblical foundations of Christian churches and in teaching the Bible in church setting.
6. Demonstrate competence in pursuing higher degree in pastoral and missionary ministries.

This degree, combined with special emphases, provides students with an academic and ministerial foundation plus the training necessary for graduate programs, such as M.A.R., M.R.E., or M.Div.
